Gianni Moramarco is a creative all-rounder, whose artistic biography develops over three decades with an eclectic and constant journey, full of creative successes ranging from interior architecture to fashion design and visual arts.
In recent years Moramarco has successfully developed the exhibition side with presence in numerous European galleries and high-level artistic events.
His presence has recently been recorded at the 7th International Biennial of Art in Ferrara 2014. His works appear in public and private collections.
Gianni Moramarco's inspiration seems to have a "pop" vein that is kept well away from conceptual aridity.
Sometimes surreal, sometimes very concrete, his paintings are populated by clear references to his city of origin, the beautiful Turin, whose symbolic places play with fiery towers and softened but deformed forms of fetishistically spied Valkyries.
Moramarco moves within a pictorial mechanism made of irony, candor, craftsmanship, nullifying the rules and limits of the frame of the work, invading the boundaries of the picture, as if driven by an irrepressible impulse to dispel reality reinterpreting it with the canon of his artistic language.
